COMMUNITY EVENTS

The Senior Center prioritizes providing services and activities for senior citizens. With a focus on promoting socialization and wellness, the center offers a variety of programs and resources to support the aging population in the area.

The Escanaba Public Library Bookmobile will stop at the Bark River Senior Center at 1:00 pm on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, beginning January 8th.

The Heart of The North Lions Club will be hosting the annual Christmas Tree Lighting again this year. This event will be at the Bark River Senior Center 4:00-6:00 pm. Tree lighting and caroling will be at 5:30 pm. Visit with Santa, decorate cookies, make an ornament, enjoy refreshments!

Bark River Township is having their clean up day on May 10th, 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. Bins will be located in Bark River parking lot by the Fire Department. Also check out the many rummage sales community wide on this weekend!

American Legion post 438 is hosting their annual gun, knife, and craft show. The main room features firearms, knives and collectibles, including guns from the ‘40s and ‘50s. The entry room has crafts and food for sale.
